My Father Cigar Co was not always My Father Cigar Co. When Don Pepin Garcia set up shop on Calle Ocho in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood, his brand was known as El Rey de los Habanos. Not only was this the name of his cigar factory, it was also the name of his first line of premium cigars. Fast forward over 20 years, and the Calle Ocho Factory is gone, and until now the El Rey de los Habanos cigars had been lost to history. It’s now back under the moniker Don Pepín García E.R.H. and uses a Sumatra Rosado Oscuro wrapper over a blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos from Condega, Estelí and Jalapa. This new blend is available in 3 sizes and as desirable as ever.
