Black Works Studio (BLK WKS) focuses on artisanal qualities of small batch cigar making. Each line in the BLK WKS portfolio is produced in limited vitolas and batches. Our goal is to push the boundaries and create cigars for the next generation of cigar smokers.

The Black Works Studio Killer Bee Shaolin is a 5 1/2 x 46 Belicoso that uses Nicaraguan fillers and a Honduran Habano binder. Overtop that are three different wrappers: Mexican San Andrés with Connecticut shade and candela accents. Like most Black Works Studio releases, there are a variety of different wrappers to create a distinctive appearance. It is made at Fábrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua. “The Killer Bee line is in a constant state of evolution. It lends itself to a lot of different variations and the next one in line is the Shaolin,” said James Browner, owner of Black Label Trading Co., in a press release. “The Shaolin is a slightly tweaked version of the Killer Bee blend wrapped in a mix of Mexican San Andres, Connecticut, and Candela. The result is a bold but elegant cigar that has layers of complexity.” This cigar is limited to a production run of about 950 boxes.
