While the wrapper remains the same, brand owner Kyle Gellis has meticulously enhanced the blend for a richer smoking experience. The wrapper is still a Connecticut seed leaf grown in Ecuador, it used a binder leaf from Ecuador too, while the filler features robust tobaccos sourced from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua—specifically selected from higher positions on the plant to deliver a stronger, more vibrant flavor profile. Limited to just 2,000 boxes of 10, the Amado No. 50 is a true collector’s item, showcasing Warped Cigars’ commitment to quality and innovation. “We wanted to showcase how the La Colmena blend could be amped up with higher-priming tobaccos,” says Gellis.
